Plan around the appointment experience
If your property includes a consultation room, studio or display space, identify how visitors enter and where they sit or stand. Describe furniture movement, wheeled chairs and supplies used during appointments. The finish should support that actual routine as well as the room's appearance.
Show whether the space connects to a private room, shared corridor or another occupied area. Discuss work access and separation before dates are chosen. If the intended business use itself needs owner or local approval, resolve that independently rather than assuming a flooring project establishes permission.
Choose samples alongside the room's furnishings
Bring wall colors, cabinetry references or existing finishes into the conversation. View samples under the intended lighting, and discuss sheen and texture separately. Metallic resin or a uniform color may suit different design goals, but substrate condition and service requirements still guide the final specification.
Identify old coatings, cracks, patches and damp areas before approving the appearance. Confirm what lies beneath removable furnishings and which fixed pieces will stay. Define transitions to adjoining surfaces so the treated area has an intentional boundary.
Protect the booking calendar and the new surface
Allow time to clear the room, prepare the concrete, complete the coating and reach the required return-to-use milestones. The first furniture delivery or setup may occur before the next customer appointment, so include both dates in the discussion.
- Identify a temporary location for furniture and supplies.
- Confirm who approves the sample and completed work.
- Review the floor before furnishings conceal its edges.
- Provide suitable moving and cleaning instructions to the people using the space.
